To qualify as a verified carrier and join the referral network you must meet the basic requirements:

Hold a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) license, authorized to carry household goods.

Maintain a minimum B rating or higher with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)
Demonstrate integrity & commit to creating a safer moving industry
Have an active operating authority for at least two years

Own your trucks and trained staff
Adhere to the USMPO Code of Ethics

The USMPO is a resource for consumers to make a safer move. We don't blindly sell customer information. Our site visitors search for safe and reliable moving options and we recommend the best suited carriers for their desired route and service area. It's more of a referral, rather than a lead.

We are with the customer from start to finish, making sure the verified carrier we recommended is actually providing good service. This helps the shipper make a decision with more confidence, and increases your chance of converting the lead.

The referral fee structure is based on an honor system and billed bi-weekly. Since we are in communication to assist shipper throughout the move process, we will know who they decided to use for their move and the quality of service they received.

 

There are no bad leads, because these are referrals. We speak with the shipper, pre-qualify them, and send them your way. We do our best to inform, set expectations, give a general overview of why your company is recommended before referring it.
