Is this really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no membership, and no charge at any point. USMPO is funded by grants and by carrier certification fees paid for tariff audits — never by commissions on your move.
Are you a broker?
No. We do not move belongings, resell your move, or take a referral fee. You book and sign directly with the carrier you choose; we are not party to that contract.
Will I get spam calls?
No. Your details go only to the audited carriers quoting your route, and never to lead generators. One coordinator contacts you, not a call center.
What if I already have a quote?
Bring it. Your coordinator will compare it against the others line by line and tell you plainly where it sits — including if it's already the best option.
How long does it take?
One call of 20–30 minutes, then most people have compared quotes in hand within 5–7 business days.
What if something goes wrong on moving day?
Your coordinator keeps the file open through delivery. If the carrier doesn't honor what was quoted, they step in, and the complaint goes on the carrier's USMPO record.
