Register Your Move, Protect your Shipment

Moving Long Distance? Protect Your Memories and Your Money.

The USMPO’s registration initiative was created to track all long distance moving carriers and household goods shipments by 2025, in order to optimize logistical efficiency and consumer safety in the moving industry. This helps us better identify carrier performance, locate lost or stolen shipments, and intervene in prolonged deliveries and hostage situations.

It is strongly advised for customers with both pending and existing moving reservations to link their tracking number to our route database by registering their move. For shippers without an existing reservation, use the search route map to find recommended carriers with existing routes to your destination state.

Before trusting a moving company to load all your belongings on a truck, take an extra method of precaution by registering your move.
